Overview
Crime Stoppers of Houston is a community-based organization that helps solve and prevent crime in the city by offering tip line, safe school, safe community and victim services programs. They were looking for an interactive website that communicates their positive effects on the community and promotes safety.
Design Solution
Their main goal was to create a website that doesn’t have a negative feeling focusing on mugshots but more inviting look to showcase community awareness and involvement. After working with the client on multiple mockups and incorporating their feedback, the final design I provided successfully represented their vision and values by using bright colors and dynamic imagery to evoke a sense of safety, organizing content throughout the website to enhance user engagement, and highlighting ways to donate to help them power crime solving and prevention programs.
